WEDGE

I love these Topshop WALBERG black suede wedge's. These are the shoes i see my dress and cape being worn with. These would toughen the look up a little bit. The dress are cape are both quite delicate made of fine fabrics. These shoes look quite chunky and heavy, i think they would make the look more edgy.

FINETO

Relieved. So glad my dress is now finished too! did have a couple of problems with the lining, but managed to complete it using an alternative method! Really happy with the devore, its just how i wanted it! Here are some pictures of my friend nic modelling the dress and cape...

I'm glad that they work well together, i was worried the dress and the cape together may look a little too much. However these pictures are telling me different!

HALF WAY THERE

Finished making my cape! I used black chiffon to make it. I foil printed clocks on the chiffon using a gold foil. I used a binding on the neck, and also to make the tie. Because the fabric is so fine, i decided to just baby overlock the edges. And here it is...

I'm really pleased with it! lets hope the dress goes to plan!

TOILE

So the Toile’s done, with no problems or alterations to make. Now ready to start making my final garments, wish me luck!

SHIFT

I have always loved wearing dresses, they are an outfit just in themselves. I wanted to design a dress that would be both easy to wear and versatile, after looking at a number of shift dresses I realised a lot of them are quite boxy and loose fitting. Therefore I wanted to design one which is closer fitting and shows off the waste.
